Fall 2008 Pledge Class

On December 5th, 2008, SAE MABA welcomed the “Omicron Pi” pledge class into its ranks. Its largest pledge class since MABA’s founding in 2005, Omicron Pi is comprised of fourteen dedicated and intelligent men determined to carry on the proud traditions of SAE. Reigning from schools all over Boston, the members of Omicron Pi helped MABA live up to its name as a consortium, with nine men from Boston University, three from Northeastern University, and one each from Suffolk University and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Through activities such as an early morning Iron Chef competition, a date dinner at Fire and Ice, and a camping trip to Camp Cody in Freedom, New Hampshire, Omicron Pi established itself in the fraternity and increased MABA’s size by nearly 25%. The members of Omicron Pi finished their time as a pledge class by cleaning up the playground of the Tobin School in nearby Roxbury and making renovations to the fraternity’s house. MABA is proud to have inducted these fourteen young men and looks forward to continuing its trend of growth in the spring of 2009.
