Camp Cody 2008

On the weekend of November 15th, 2008, SAE MABA embarked on an annual journey to Camp Cody in Freedom, New Hampshire, which is partially owned by MABA founding member Peter Ross. The members of the fraternity arrived at the cabin early Saturday afternoon and used the remainder of the day for brotherhood events and also to spread knowledge about the history and rituals of the fraternity. Athletic events included a heated dodgeball tournament between graduating classes, a 4-on-4 basketball tournament, and an indoor version of “taps,” which proved to be the most competitive of all. At night, the pledges were instructed in the songs and history of the fraternity around a campfire. The trip to Camp Cody provided limitless bonding opportunities for the brothers and pledges of SAE, and is a tradition the fraternity looks forward to continuing in the future.
